A glorious warm winters day - no joke it was 82oF in Hemet, California for the Reverse Sprint Tinsel Triathlon.
A 5K run, a 12 mile bike ride and a whopping 150 meters pool swim.
I placed 14th out of 77 in my age group and 75 out of 936 overall.
My total time was 0:59:55 with the following splits:
0:22:44 on the run (17th out of 77)
0:33:42 on the bike (8th out of 77)
0:03:29 on the swim (9th out of 77)
It was different doing the reverse and the leg feel different jumping on the bike after a good 5K sprint.
Several people were dressed up and enjoying the holiday season; it was a funny sight to see some of the swimmers with costumes on during there swim!
All in all a fun way to wrap up a wonderful 2010 and my first 8 month into this wonderful sport of Triathlon.
